Name

     i) The name of the residents association is the St. Johns Road Residents Association.

     ii) It is not and cannot be aligned to any political or religious faction, party or organisation.

     iii) It is self-funding.

​​Membership

     i) Membership of the Association is open to all residents in domestic residences and business premises in St Johns’ Road.

     ii) Any resident of Tunbridge Wells not included in the above may be allowed membership at the discretion of the Chair.

     iii) The Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys will also be classified as a member with a representative appointed by the

         School to serve on the committee.

​​Committee

     i) The Committee shall comprise of Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary plus one Representative from each road in the

        area plus one representative from The Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys.

     ii) A quorum (minimum number) of Committee persons required to conduct a meeting shall be two of the elected officers of

        which one must be Chair or Vice-Chair plus two Road Representatives.

​​Objectives

     The main objective of the Association is to maintain, protect and improve our local environment. ​​

Aims & Purpose

     The purpose of the association is to provide a proactive and united voice on issues such as planning, traffic, parking, trees

     pavements, safety and security, and provide a structure through which information can be distributed quickly and efficiently.
