Dear Residents

I am sorry that I have misinformed you of the start date of the new waste collection. You should have received by now the Council’s mailing which contains the calendar for your new collection day.

So, for St. John’s Road (higher numbers) the first new collection will start on Wednesday 2^nd October with:

Brown bin

Green box

Food waste bin (every week)

Small household batteries, including watch batteries

On the second Wednesday 9^th October the waste collection service will pick up:

Green refuse bin

Black garden waste bin

Food waste bin (every week)

Small carrier bag for textiles

Small carrier bag for electrical goods like toasters, hair dryers, kettles, irons, electrical leads and chargers

Any problems with the collection should be reported to the Depot at North Farm Lane, Tunbridge Wells through the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s main switchboard 01892 526121. You can also visit the website
